The University of Marburg is one of the first protestant universities, looking back on nearly five centuries of research and tuition.

Three Bachelor and Master’s courses familiarize students with the aesthetics, history and theory of audiovisual media. The studies centre on the forms of appearance and expression of film (including photography), radio, television and digital media (computers, Internet, multimedia configurations).
