The online masterclasses were held by speakers Nina Fischer & Maroan el Sani, Melanie Waelde and Jonas Zimmermann (Schreibkollektiv Q3).

On Thursday evening, May 11, there was a masterclass by artist duo Nina Fischer & Maroan el Sani.

Nina Fischer & Maroan el Sani have been working together in Berlin since 1993. On Friday morning, May 12, there were masterclasses by Melanie Waelde and Jonas Zimmermann (Schreibkollektiv Q3).

Melanie Waelde studied screenwriting at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). Her directorial feature debut NACKTE TIERE celebrated its world premiere at the Berlinale 2020 in the "Encounters" section, screened internationally at festivals (including São Paulo, Giffoni, New Horizons) and was awarded the German Film Critics' Prize for "Best Feature Film Debut". In 2021 she directed four episodes of the Grimme Award-nominated ZDFtivi series ECHT and in 2022 the children's musical film JULI TANZT.

Jonas Zimmermann studied screenwriting at the DFFB until 2016, where he founded the writing collective "Schreibkollektiv Q3" with other graduates and then wrote for production companies such as Warner Bros. and Constantin Film. Currently, he mainly works as a head writer: Recently for the fourth season of the series WIR (together with Jasmina Wesolowski) and Meme Girls, for which he was also cocreator (together with Gesa Scheibner). He also regularly appears on Berlin slams and reading stages.
