As teaching
staff responsible for film and media studies at universities in the state of Hesse,
we stand for the recognition and appreciation of a form of media culture and
education that respects individuality as well as the diversity that results
from that.
Films and
media transcend borders and connect people, regardless of origin or identity. Diverse
teams work together around the globe to develop films, games and other media
that promote social dialogue.
We stand
for a sector and education that treats all people respectfully, openly and
trustingly, free of prejudice and discrimination - irrespective of gender,
sexual orientation, social and ethnic origin, disability, nationality, religion
or worldview, age or language.
We can only
be successful if we take advantage of this great diversity. Our approach to
teaching actively furthers constructive discussions towards goals and pathways
that contribute to shaping a diverse and open society.
