»Pitching« means »presenting to the point«, the perfect »pitch« of a project usually decides on its chances of realization. So it's not about telling your story in detail, but selling it convincingly and efficiently. This is an art that even brilliant authors and producers do not always master perfectly.

Pitching a project means facing a number of questions:

  • How to explain briefly what my project is about?
  • Why it is important for me... ?
  • ... and why should it be important for partners and an audience?

In her lecture the international trainer Sibylle Kurz talks about techniques and gives practical tips to help present yourself and your projects thrillingly and successfully. When preparing for the interview, the awareness of one's own strengths and weaknesses as well as the assessment of the other person are fundamental. Sibylle Kurz helps to clarify which intentions you associate with your pitch, how to communicate a project efficiently, how to communicate with your partners and an audience and how to create a relationship of creativity, professionalism and trust.

Following the lecture, the hFMA pitching-workshop will start for registered participants!
