The department of Applied Computer Science features a Bachelor course in “Digital Media” (production, processing and distribution). A focus on Media Informatics is available in both the Bachelor and the Master’s courses of Applied Computer Science.

The department of Social Studies conveys multimedia skills in a Bachelor course in “Social Work”.

As of 2014, the faculty offers an interdisciplinary extraoccupational Master’s course in Media Education.
