As a filmmakers’ platform the eDIT Filmmaker's Festival was promoting the exchange of information about innovations and the tips and tricks of filmmaking and ended on 1st of November 2011 in Frankfurt am Main.International filmmakers were using their most recent productions to discuss filmmaking in the digital era. The festival program was consisting of workshops, presentations, screenings and fringe events. Central themes are camerawork, animation, visual effects, editing and production.
