‎FORUM :

The Biennial of the Moving Image‎, B3, is an international media conference dedicated ‎to exceptional expressions — in fine art, VR / AR, film and television and gaming — incorporating film, video and digital means.

ON DESIRE is the theme for the third iteration of‎ B3 which focuses on art, media, science and technology. Programs will unfold in various venues across Frankfurt, November 29 to December 03, 2017.

Over the course of five thrilling days, hundreds of artists, film makers, practitioners, technological experts, ‎critics, students, researchers, academics and theorists will gather for insightful exhibitions and installations, debut screenings, eye-opening panel discussions, vital workshops and demonstrations and cutting-edge special events.

Formal, informal and social contexts will maximize opportunities for participants to share and deepen their global visibility, their craft and their professional network.

‎Several moving image sections are included in B3 programming. Each will echo the theme ON DESIRE, as explored by moving image makers from around the world.

Only B3 addresses the state of the moving image ‎from the perspective of those who create it.
