Tel-Aviv International Student Film Festival will be held this year 23.06.2026-30.06.2026, in the Tel-Aviv Cinematheque.

The International Competition is the main event of the festival, dating back to 1986, every year it shows a new generation of emerging film talents from around the world. Over the years, the festival has hosted thousands of film students and guests of honor such as Richard Gere, Martin Scorsese, Paolo Sorrentino, Mia Hansen-Løve, Sebastián Lelio, Claire Denis, Gus Van Sant, Jacque Audiard, Céline Sciamma, Gaspar Noé, and many more. The festival is an opportunity for young filmmakers from all over the world to present short innovative cinema, and participate in gala screenings, masterclasses, conferences, and special tributes.

At the International Competition each film is seen as a unique brushstroke on a canvas, creating a colorful collage of our shared love and passion for art and cinematic storytelling. TISFF is seeking standout films from new voices worldwide that excel in their storytelling, capturing diverse perspectives. The focus is on narratives that will inspire and move, inviting audiences to experience the shared humanity within each story.
