Every semester, the Städelschule hosts the Lectures, a series of talks by international artists, curators and creatives, who share insights into their practice and current projects. We are delighted to announce the program for the summer semester of 2026, which has been conceived in close collaboration with the students Siri Black, Tandi Reason Dahl, Ville Aleksi Laurinkoski, Jean-Michel Mabruki Mussa, Emilio Røed Marroquin, Maya Marx, Haiyue Tao, Kishan Singh Tehara, and Mattis Thomsen.
The Lectures usually take place on Tuesday evenings at 7 pm at the Aula of Städelschule (April 14 – June 30, 2026, 7 pm, Städelschule, Aula, Dürerstraße 10, 60596 Frankfurt am Main), and are held in English. A growing archive of all speakers and posters designed by students throughout the last twenty years can be found here. The Städelschule Vimeo channel makes the lectures from recent semesters accessible online. A selection of Lectures from 1999 to 2020 was published in Städelschule Lectures 1 and Städelschule Lectures 2.
