T-Port is hosting a dedicated workshop & mentoring during the 2025 SFC | Rendez-vous Industry initiative led by Cinéma de Demain as part of the Festival de Cannes.
About the program: The workshop aims to empower filmmakers—particularly first-time attendees of Cannes—with:
- A comprehensive introduction to the Cannes Market, including its structure, key players, and essential protocols.
- Practical tools for navigating professional interactions, building meaningful connections, and developing multicultural communication strategies.
- Resilience-building strategies for managing competition, rejection, and the emotional toll of high-pace networking.
- Actionable advice on maintaining professional relationships through effective follow-up practices.
The program will be run by T-Port’s head of industry (Amos Geva) during Cannes as part of the Cinéma de Demain SFC | Rendez-vous Industry program between May 18-21, 2025. The chosen participants will be invited to attend the SFC | Rendez-vous Industry events and will benefit from accreditations for the event. (Accreditations will be valid from Sunday, May 18th until the end of the festival).
Each day will begin with a group gathering discussing goals and schedule planning for the day. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the market and festival independently during the day and will be able to attend events organised as part of the SFC | Rendez-vous Industry program (incl. Breakfasts, talks, panels and more - some events are available only upon registration due to limited seats).
